Cabo has something for everyone

We have been coming to Cabo for the past few years now and have had the opportunity to experience many different things. Below are some of our favourite beaches, restaurants, activities, day trips, and grocery stores in Cabo but of course there are plenty more that aren’t on this list. As time goes on we will update this list with other guests favourite things and have a full guide at the property.

Beaches

Santa Carmella

  • Public beach

  • 10 minute drive from the property

  • Great for snorkeling and swimming

Palmilla

  • Public beach

  • 15 minute drive from the property

  • Great for swimming and has very relaxing vibe

Chileno

  • Public beach

  • 10 minute drive from the property

  • Busy family oriented beach, great for swimming

Day Trips

San Jose Del Cabo

A small city 30-40 minutes away from the property. Best to go on a thursday mid morning to eat at Flora Farms then go to the beach there. Thursday evening is when the art walk takes place and this is where local artists have stations set up around town for you to check out.

Cerritos Beach/Todos Santos

A small beach community where there are lots of surfers, boogie boarders and body surfers. With miles of beach front and lots of waves and calm areas to swim its one of the more popular beaches around. Barracuda Tacos is also a great spot to eat which is two minute walk from the beach.

La Paz

If you’re ok with a bit of a trek then La Paz is definitely worth checking out. A 2 hour drive from Cabo, this is an ocean front City and actually the capital of the Baja. The Malecon (Seawall) is beautiful and runs the length of the happening part of town. La Paz is where you can swim with Whale Sharks which we highly recommend.

  • Casola- great coffee and nice menu

  • Mama’s Royale- Great stuffed french toast

  • Flora Farms- Farm to table- not cheap but delicious

Lunch

  • Tacos Gardenias- Cheap and delicious

  • Santa Carmella Grocer- Made to order food counter

Dinner

  • Salvatore G’s- Italian and our personal favourite of all restaurants

  • Josephas Pizza Delivery

Grocery Stores

Fresko

Right near the property and has everything you could need.

Santa Carmella Grocery

Small local shop that has the best guacamole and pico de gallo youll ever have.

COSTCO

Has good options for premade food, snacks, and of course booze.

Walmart

All the essentials at cheapest prices you’ll find.

Activities

ATV’s
Can be done by a rental company that takes you on a tour. Research this one as we haven’t done it in a few years and don’t know the best one anymore.

Snorkeling

We like Santa Maria Beach. We have snorkeling gear at the property but if you’d rather there are day excursions where they boat you to a few different spots.

Sunset/Boat Cruise

Depending on the demographic of the group that is travelling you could do a booze cruise, snorkeling cruise, dinner cruise or our personal favourite sunset cruise. Most will take you close to the Arc and Lovers and Divorce beach before sailing out to into the ocean to watch the sunset.
